Talacre Signal Box is a London and North Western Railway type 4 design. A two-storey structure of brick-to-floor construction under a pitched slated roof, with an external access stairway at the west end, it was originally at Gronant and was re-erected at Talacre in 1903. The LNWR tumbler frame, with bar and stud locking, has 24 levers.
